DESCRIPTION OF RACE:
Close out your summer with the Summer of Love, hosted by Go Time and the Wilmington Athletic Club. The course starts at the WAC, heads to Greenfield Lake and back.
We have so much fun taking place — check it out:
– After the race, swim at the newly converted salt water pool at the Wilmington Athletic Club for FREE
– Register by July 27th & it’s only $15
– All Finishers receive a FREE One Week Pass to the WAC and its pool
– Costume Contests: Best Kids Superhero and Best Summer of Love
– Music, Fun, Beer
This race has been sanctioned by the USATF. A USATF sanction is an official designation issued by USATF, through a local Association, which approves and licenses the holding of a competitive track & field, long distance running or race walking event in the United States. The sanction is a contract, which evidences the event’s commitment to follow national and international rules and regulations of the sport and to provide a safe environment for the participants and spectators.
