Participants may run or walk either course. The 5K is timed, while the 1 mile is not timed. See course description below.

8:32 a.m. – 1 Mile Race
Please plan to be at the start line 10 minutes prior to your race, wearing your race number on the front of your shirt. Walkers and strollers are asked to line up in the back.
ABOUT THE RACE
The Luv2Run 5K and Fun Run is family focused run open to all levels of runners. Proceeds from this event will benefit the St. Mary School Athletic Booster Club to help develop student athletes, expand the athletic programs and improve the athletic facilities. After the race, lunch is provided and all runners will receive 3 tickets for the raffle prizes. Past raffle prizes included surf lessons, ridding lessons, gym memberships, gift cards and much more. Lunch and raffle tickets can be purchased by non-runners.

THE COURSE
*NEW COURSE*
This race is in Downtown Wilmington, NC. This family friendly race will begin and end at the St. Mary School on Ann between 4th and 5th. The new course takes runners along Front Street rather than 2nd Street. The course is great for all level of runners and will take participants through historic downtown Wilmington. Each participant will receive a complementary lunch and three tickets for the Chinese raffle. Strollers, wheelchair and pets are welcomed.
PARTICIPANT PERKS
Race Shirts: Participants who register by APRIL 23, 2015 are guaranteed to receive a participant shirt. Shirts are available in Youth S-L, and Adult Unisex sizes S-XL.

♦ Overall Top Three Masters Male and Female
♦ Top Three Male and Female in Age Groups: 8 & under, 9-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+ – Pint Glasses will be given to the top overall male and female finishers and the top male and female age group finishers. (Children 14 and under will receive trophies.)

PARKING
Participants may park in the Wilmington Parking Deck on Market St., the parking lot on the corner of Market and Dock or FOR FREE on 3rd St.
TEAMS
You may choose to sign up as a team. There is a minimum requirement of five 5K participants to enter for fastest team but you may have as many people on team as you wish. The fastest team winner will be based on the cumulative time of the top 5 runners.
SCHOOLS
When registering please provide your school name to be able to participate in the fastest school, biggest school team, and school team with the most spirit. If you do not belong to a school please just write none.
FAQ & GUIDELINES
Waiver: The Registration Agreement & Liability Waiver is linked to the Online Registration. This must be selected and approved during registration.
Packet Pick-Up: Family or Friends may pick-up your Race Packet at Packet Pick-Up if the event is not sold out. For sold out races, individuals must pick-up their packet and show I.D.
On-Site Registration: Registration is available starting one hour prior to race start. It closes 20 minutes prior to start.
Timing: Jaguar Chip Timing will be used to time this race.
Weather: This race is rain or shine. It will be postponed, rescheduled or cancelled if a severe weather warning is in effect.
Refunds: Refunds requested by participant are as follows:
More than 60 days from event: Full Refund
Less than 60 days, but more than 30 days from event: 50% Refund
Less than 30 days, but more than two weeks from event: 25% Refund
Less than two weeks from event: No Refund
Event cancelled due to severe weather: No Refund
Entries are not transferable to other races Timed by Go Time as each race is organized by a different group. We must stick to this policy as race items have been purchased based on current registrations and it is not fair to choose who receives a refund and who does not.
